I'm getting ready to start making some Quilts for Kids. I've asked my family if they could donate a few bucks to help defray the cost of the batting/thread/etc (while using my stash for the quilt tops). I was hoping for $50 and have raised $225!

Anyway, I'm getting ready to start and was hoping to use this to document my progress. I have a tendency to lose interest in projects, so I'm hoping this will help keep me motivated. My goal is 5, and my stretch goal is 10. But if I have $, I'm just going to keep going and going until I run out. And I just bought an Accuquilt so that will help with the cutting.

Let the quilting begin!

You go girl. I'd make for QFK if they didn't need all the quilting that they require. Good luck.

Just received 2 more kits, so I'm at it again. Love doing it and am certain that the kids love them much.

I have one cut out and half sewed on my table, and one cut but not sewed. I'll be accountable to you if you will be to me!

Thanks for the thread.

Did ya'll know that if you make quilts for Project Linus and send them in, you only have to make the top? You don't have to do anything else? they take care of all that amd will even send you fabric if you ask for it. They send out fabric about once a month which is how often the local directors get to go shopping. You also get to choose the design whereas I bewleive with QFK they send you the design to do.

It is so great that you are doing this for the kids. It is totally awesome that you raised that much! You go girl!

I just started putting the binding on my first QFK's. I have now gone bonkers buying kids fabric whenever I find it on sale.

Can hardly wait to see the pics of your creations!
