What a terrible thing to have happened to these works of art. Just thinking of the time, talent, love and energy it took to make them, plus the money, it must be heart breaking to the owners.

That's why my ex-cops brother and son both are passionate about having surveillance cameras in such situations.

And was it here I read that someone had lost a couple of quilts that they had stuffed into black garbage bags at a show...later found them missing and thought they were probably picked up by cleaning crew, who most likely tossed them into a garbage truck.

Hope these lovely works of art are able to come home again.

Hopefully they are sitting somewhere safe and will be back to their owners soon with this all just being a packing issue. So very sad.

At least the company has owned up to the missing items and isn't just glossing it over...well done on their behalf.

This is so terrible to happen to anyone. Hopefully they turn up, but there are a lot of missing quilts out there.
