That is terrible. Hope everyone is right and they were just shipped to the wrong person and will turn up. There is a good reason that you shouldn't put things into black garbage bags to transport them. Someone comes along and thinks it is garbage. Had a friend who was going on a cruise and had a whole new wardrobe in a garbage bag, and her mom threw it out. Hope they find the quilts.

Just can't believe that people are like that. I guess I am too trusting and yet I have had numerous things stolen from me.
Hopefully, if they were taken, the quilts will be returned. I do not understand how someone can enjoy stolen goods.

I have a friend who along with her daughter has published many patterns and a few books. They go to quilt market each spring and fall and a couple of years ago they lost (or had stolen) one container of quilts. I think they lost 4 quilts also. It is very sad to think someone would steal those quilts but they were beautiful and some people do not give it a second thought about taking what they want. I hope C&T get their quilts back but doubt they will. My friends kept thinking they would get their quilts back but never did.

I am wondering if they checked for a missing crate? Did they get all that they shipped. I would also see if the trade show people should be questioned. I feel bad that this happened and especially in Salt Lake City where I live.

So disheartening. Hard for me to believe a "quilter" would be able to steal and enjoy stolen quilts knowing how much time and love goes into a quilt. In my opinion, it would have to be a wanna be quilter who doesn't have a clue. A quilter would not be able to look at the quilts and find any enjoyment at all in them. I hope they're just missing and turn up soon. So sad.

This is so sad... it would be nice if they were simply misplaced... but unfortunately it may also be theft... more security guards may be necessary for such events as in art museums... some of the art quilts are pretty valuable works.
