I've done a few. There's all kinds of borders u can do to make it bigger. They are fun I've done simple and been elaborate. Have fun.!!

I have made 3 a lap quilt for charity, 1 for my sis-in-law and a doll quilt. Using the same panel used for my sis-in-laws only a smaller panel

Isn't there a book about how to chop up the panels and then add to it? I am looking for such a book. I'm pretty sure I saw one once upon a time.

I did the free project quilt Hearts of Valor from windham fab; I even used mostly their fabrics. The only thing that I changed out was they had one eagle panel at the top and I put one at top and bottom. You can find alot of great panels out there to inspire you

I have one called Panel Magic by Sandra Hatch & Sue Harvey. Some great ideas on how to use panels...

I've used them, they can be really beautiful. I have the panels to make my DD a Peter Pan one, just haven't gotten to it yet.

Don't really need a book to do this. Just eyeball, measure and go for it! My first quilt was a Cars quilt that I made from a panel and coordinating fabric for my grandson. I shadow quilted around the different components in the panel and he loved it! Check out the bottom quilt......lol.
