    I like using the toile as backing Thats probably not what you are thinking about, but it really makes the back nice

    that is beautiful ekuw. I always want to pet your bird. We got our first egg today from our new Easter Egger chickens, I So Excited The girls are sooo soft.

    Thanks! It was relatively easy, which is nice too! My bird is wild so I have not petted her either LOL. Jealous you have chickens and fresh eggs :-)

    guess what...toile reduced. I cut kites with it with my accuquilt, de-heading be danged. then string pieced the sides and wide part of the kite, so even the kits was beheaded I guess. This is under the needle this week being quilted, the 2nd photo is the reverse side. No patterns, just working wall fun. 44X46-ish for loft rail quilts
    So all the yardage is gone, the last 2 yards are cut for pillowcase donations.

    Look at that lovely jewel effect on the first one!

    I appreciate you showing your end results. Sometimes there is a quite a delay between the initial creative tickle and the end product.
