I have one, but haven't used it yet. I have freinds who use them, but I can't answer that question. I will ask.

I have one and leave it on my machine for all sewing. It's easy to clean with a damp cloth and it saves my sewing ext. table from lots of scratches. It removes just fine and resticks like new. If threads or lint get on the sticky side , rinse under cool water and pat dry. The slider cost a lot less then a new ext. table. There are two brands that I know of.

The one I use feels sticky to the touch but does not leave any residue. It doesn't feel like static cling to me. I doesn't move or wrinkle no matter how much I pull or turn on top of it.

I have one too, and use it a lot - ditto, no sticky residue. I did alter it a little. Mind had a small round hole, about half an inch diameter, where the needle went, because it was supposed to only be used with the feed dogs down. I enlarged the hole to the size of my feed dogs, now I can use it all the time, and the larger hole doesn't affect the FMQ either.

I have the Supreme Slider and would not FMQ without it or the machiners gloves. This slider has saved me alot of frustration. It does rinse off wonderfully. The only problem, I have sewn threw it a few times. I am a little goofy about things like that.

You can find them on sale at J. Hittle wholesale, 18.90 ea.
