Is it an overnight type of thing with meals included? Seems expensive if it isn't...Naomi

you can buy dvds from top quilt artists for a lot cheaper then that and you could watch them over and over again perfecting the techniques.
I totally agree with this comment. I couldn't/wouldn't pay that much for a 2-day quilting class.

Yes I think that class is to expensive, probaby 6 hr or less of actual teaching /lecturing per day. Right now the Australian dollar is a little higher than the US dollar, so you will actually be paying more than the $450.00.

Very pricey. Our workshops are about $20 for 1/2 day and $35 for a full day. And supplies are usually included.

That's a lot of money especially for no extras.

I don't know the going rate for stuff in Australia, but sounds high to me. I don't think I have ever paid more than $100 for an all day workshop.

I doubt if anyone could get enough information from that session to equal the elation of having two quilts finished and in your hands!
That said, there are different kinds of information given at
those kinds of sessions. General quilting and "Special I want to know...." sessions are much better than "learn how to make a bag for your quilt" sessions that you can learn from a tutorial.

That is a great price! Maybe different areas affect the price? Nothing that good a price around here.

Not knowing the conversion of Austrialian $ to US I think it sounds like alot of $ for only 2 days.

I just paid $15.00 for a class where I was the only student of the teacher for 6 hours, and lunch was included. They are asking way too much!!!
