Wow... Never new there was recalls for sewing machines. it did get my attention though because I have an Elna machine, but mine is about 10 years old now and is not that particular Elna machine. Thank's for the info though. Hope nobody here has one of these. I sure hate giving up my machine, but hopefully they can remedy this problem.

It is. Very cautious of them to recall so many machines based on a single incident. Good on them.
