I'm looking for this pattern & don't have enough info to Google .
The quilt pic showed scrappy rectangles & blocks, all with a center strip.Have seen other pics, but in those, everything is lined up or just rectangles.
This one had a long rectangle with 2 or 3 blocks beside or under it.I need sizes...might be jelly rolls used & a good pic.Almost sure it was shown on this board.

Will trade fat quarters or a quilting book.PM if interested.

Take a look at the free pattern Wild Orchids on the Northcott web site. It has squares and rectangles and might be just what you had in mind. I just finished this pattern using just purples for my daughter's birthday and it was easy to cut and to stitch. It would look just as great in a variety of colours.

Thanks. It's very like the pattern I need.Don't have quilting software.....but could use it now!.....& afraid to draw it out.
The main thing is, the sqs & blocks are not lined up. Some are taller etc.I'm thinking this is as clear as mud :-)

It might be a turning 20 or a yellow brick road. Try a search for those and see if you like them.

I right-clicked on the pic and did "copy," then opened programs, accessories, Paint, and did "paste." Used the little drawing tools to draw the lines. Saved the file and mapped here. Fairly primitive but if you can draw a straight line with your mouse (obviously I cannot!) it works.

I've forgotten a lot of my Apple stuff - been 15 years - but you should have a copy and paste key-command (command-c to copy and command-something to paste). You should also have a program that lets you play with pictures. So you copy the pic, then open your play-with-pix program and tell it to paste the image. From there you should be able to edit at will, like drawing lines over the image as I did.
