Regarding Rotary Cutter Blades
#13
someone on the board mentioned Autohome blades so I bought a pack. One was good but the three I just opened didn't cut well -- skipping even the first cut, I will try harbor Freight because if you buy anything you get a freebee -- I usually pick the little LED flashlights.

I have been using the Somolux blades that I ordered off Amazon for awhile..and have been very pleased with them. They are made with Japanese steel. I also tried the Harbor Freight blades and did not have good luck with them.

Harbor Freight blades
I wonder why some people can use them and others can't. I am in the can't category but I use to use them exclusively, wondering if different stores get a different quality. I remember when I first started using them I had a hard time finding them because so many stores were sold out and couldn't keep them in stock but now I have noticed the holders are always full.

I bought the 50 pack from Martelli during their sale this last year and gave half of them as a gift to my mom. They also sell a container that I bought for my used blades so I don’t have to throw them away individually all wrapped in tape or worry about anyone getting cut.

I just 5 pack Fiskar blades at Walmart. Only cost about 3.00per blade. Not worth the aggravation of trying to use cheap blades. I took someone's advice on here a few years back. Don't remember the name but they were no good.
