I've read a few posts on 'regular status' in recent weeks. I had regular status once but lost it. This may be a silly question, but why is 'regular status' such a big deal? I'm on this board every day and read the daily posts (my day isn't the same without them), but if I took the time to comment on each post I would never get any work done, never mind quilting. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for your comments. I appreciate each and every member of this board. I've learned so much. Every morning it's like sitting down with friends to start the day. Thank you for that!

Status doesn't matter to me but would be lost without my daily quilting board. It may be a big deal to those that sell their items.

The only advantage to regular status that I can see if you want to sell something in the classified section. I don't think it means anything else. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am like you. I love this board. I don't have a guild in my area so this is like one big guild and so many nice people.

The only time it matters - at all - is if one wants to place an ad in the Classified section to SELL something or if one wants to REQUEST something in the PIF/Donation section.

One can buy, respond to people wanting to buy something, give things away, post on/in any other section of the board any time.

To maintain Regular Status you need to post 20 times in two weeks. It is easy to do by welcoming new members and an occasional comment on a quilt your really like. Two or three
times a day will keep your regular status.:)

you are correct.

titles don't mean a thing unless you want to sell, trade or mooch.
