Guess what I found today!! My zodiac cross-stitch blocks! For some silly reason, I had put them in my cupboard with all my cookbooks and recipes...because you know, cooking and cross-stitching go hand in hand.... But anyways, they are in the washer right now, there are four of them that one of the beasties had thrown up on...so I'm not sure if they are salvageable...if not, it's no big deal, I can cross-stitch 4 a heck of alot faster than 12...I will post pics tomorrow of them! Doing the happy dance!!

I'm glad you found them. Soak in oxyclean before you put them in the dryer if stains did not come out in the wash. Just did that to a 30 year old demo quilting piece. Looks gently used. It had a rough life as doll quilt, table topper, etc.

I thought about this last week. When I was in a new-to-me LQS I saw the fabric that you had found. And I was really tempted - but resisted. Can't wait to see the blocks and the finished quilt.
