What a hoot - our apprentice carpenters sometimes find their tool boxes nailed to the floor. Makes them very heavy to lift up. HAH
Hope you thought of something really good!

Sewing the panty legs thing brought back a funny moment from my younger days when I was an Air Force wife enduring endless TDY's my husband had to go on. I sewed all of his underwear flies up.....made a funny moment when all of us girls met for an enlisted wives outing.....I do love this board.

Okay, here's one of my "off-color" pranks... At retreat, we all leave the room and head to the lodge for meals at the same time. One day at lunch, someone slipped out early, placed a "battery-operated marital aid" inside the storage compartment of someone else's sewing machine, turned it on, and slipped back out. When we all filed back to our machines, we heard the buzzing! The owner of the machine took it out and apparently had no idea what it was - the rest of us were on the floor, howling.

Enjoying reading these - our family is full of pranksters but I haven't done any 'quilting pranks'.

My best friend is a prankster. Whenever she would visit her brother's house she would take home one wine glass. When she had the whole set she invited her brother and SIL over for dinner and served wine in the "stolen" wine glasses.

These pranks are beginning to scare me a little. I'm going to be attending my very first retreat next week. Is this what I can be expecting?????? Good thing you all shared wonderful ideas. I'll know what to do for payback.

at our retreat a couple of years ago, there was a "murder"... someone overnight, got into the retreat room, laid out a "crime scene in masking tape" of an outline of a body, and had crime scene tape over the doors (that opened out, so when the door was open, you couldn't get into the room.

I LOVE all of these... may have to save these ideas for next year!!

It all depends on the personalities in your group. I'm very fortunate, I have a bunch of wacky girls who love to laugh and have great senses of humor, and we're all very comfortable with each other.
