    Since you are not lining up the individual braids you can easily trim the bottom. It's pretty.

    I myself would just make sure that the quilt will lie flat for the quilting process. You have to be so careful since all those edges are all bias. I myself wouldn't try to put a border on. I would just quilt it and get the binding done. You used very pretty batiks.

    I like it without a border but then again there is the bias edge issue. I think if you do decide to put a border a black one or small inner border of black would make all the colors pop and would look amazing. Nice quilt!

    great color play -- will be tricky with all the bias, but i think i would go with a black border....slowly!

    I don't think matching seams is important with this pattern, by the way. It's beautiful just as it is. I think I agree that putting even a thin border will frame your masterpiece and make it easier when you bind all those bias edges. You might try black for the border.
