Road Trip to Lubbock Texas
#1
I am taking my DD to Lubbock this weekend for her birthday. We will be leaving Midland headed north. Anyone know of any quilt shops or must sees on the way?
I appreciate your help........... :)

There is a charming little shop in Andrews. The Sewing Cottage is right on Main Street (aka the Andrews Highway if you're in Midland/Odessa.) She is on the left side of the street as you head north right before the stoplight where you turn left to go to New Mexico.
Rachels (in Lubbock) is on 50th, just east of Slide Road. I'm not sure if there are any more or not. There used to be several, but they have all closed, including one that wasn't open all that long.
Happy shopping!

There's a Bernina store on Loop 289, south side, between Slide and Quaker. There's also a relatively new place called Darlene's at 2149 A 50th Street, between University and Ave Q. I've not been there, but I met the owner (very nice) at the last guild meeting I went to. Hancock's has also opened up in a new (to me) location at Loop 289 and Quaker. It's sits back in the corner, down from Mardel's. JoAnn's is at 82nd and Slide. Hobby Lobby is on Slide, just south of the Loop. Have fun!
