Thanks for the information. Good to know the guide comes off too. Think I might give it a try it would be good for strip cutting.

I have the cutter but not the ruler. You have to be careful when you start to make sure the "lip" of the cutter that is supposed to fit into their ruler groove is placed squarely on the regular ruler, but it works. I like the angle that the cutter places my wrist, it relieves pressure. I have used regular blades in it. In fact, I use the cheapy Harbor Freight blades.
