i bought the cutter but didnt buy the ruler so i cant use it because it doesnt work with other rulers i made the mistake of not researching my purchase so its just sitting there in a dish in my sewing room. but the blades seem the same from the look of them. however trying to use it was awkward at best so i didnt bother to get the rulers i felt like i wouldnt use it on a regular basis.

Yeah, I think this rule rides in a slot or groove on the ruler.... For awhile Tuesday Morning had a set...

It must be smarter than mine, couldn't figure out how to use it, just sitting in a box right now, will probably throw it away. Ruler is nice though. LOL

Yes Annie I too had the fiskers ruler and cutter attached. But DH broke the ruler in half. Said he was in my sewing room and it fell and then he stepped on it. What he was doing in my sewing room I don't know. He told me it is a mess in there I said it is my mess and maybe you should stay out..
Oh take care of yours they don't make them anymore and have no plans on making any in the future I asked Fiskers.

But I sure do miss it. Used it all the mine!

I have the cutter-tried it with the rulers and it is great. The guide that fits into the slot on the special ruler does come off so it can be used with a regular ruler, and it takes regular blades-nothing special. I appreciate the angle of the cutter-no fatigue from a lot of cutting. For anyone who has problems veering off the ruler-Truecut is a great way for accurate cutting!
