TOO CUTE!!! (both GGD and the quilt)!!! Isn't it amazing and wonderful to be able to "share" these kind of moments via phones and UTube!! How blessed we are..... and Sara, well she just looks thrilled, cant beat that.

I'm so glad she finally got her quilt.

I didn't think of it at the time but to anyone that MIS ADDRESSES anything in the future, go to EXCITE click on White Pages and do a reverse look up. Type in the address that you used and it will tell you who it is and give you their phone number if they have one listed. So it's possible to call them or write to them and ask if they got a package by mistake and tell them where it needs to go.

That video is so precious. She could not have loved that quilt more!! It is a beautiful quilt and I am amazed that a young girl would take the time to observe the different fabrics in her quilt.

Julie I know what you mean...let me tell you a sweet story. The last time I was with her (1 1/2 years ago), she took me to a quiet room to say goodbye. She picked up my hand, took the palm to her lips and kissed it. Then she put my palm over my heart, saying "When you miss me, just put your hand over your heart and remember my kiss is there. Now, here is my hand to kiss...and then you put it on my heart. Now neither one of us will ever have to be lonely again."
mmm mmm m That's one loving child!

Yes Robinlee I do LOVE being a grandmother!! I have 15 grands and 6 great grands!! But you know what I REALLY love? At 43, my daughter is learning to quilt...she never even sewed before! I love working with her. She helped me sandwich this quilt of Sara's with spray basting glue. She had never seen the process and said, Mama, don't ever do this alone again. I will come and help you! We were sweating, in the garage, doors open, eight oclock at night, 93 degrees!

Its a miracle it was sent back. It was meant to be Sara's!! I watched the video and heard her remarking how some fabrics were from her clothes,,,,,,, how special that a great idea!! The look oh her face when she flipped it open was priceless for a quilter let alone a Grandma!
