For those of you who did not get the word, The Quilt is with SARA! But since you've gone this far with my little saga, Click on this link and you can see a one minute video. THIS is why we spend so much time quilting!!!! If a picture is worth a 1000 words, imagine what this video is worth!! PRICELESS!

Jeannie, I used to work as an elem school librarian. Kinders sometimes had a hard time separating from Mom the first day of school. I had a book that helped with this anixiety...The Kissing Hand. Momma raccoon kissed the son's hand and said if you miss me today at school, put your hand against your cheek...I'm there with you. Maybe someone read this book to her huh?

So happy that SARA has her quilt and loves it. We should all be so fortunate to have our quilts loved even half this much!

What a happy little girl, an even happier ggm and a very thoughtful family to video her opening the gift and sending the video to you. I am so glad the lost quilt was found.

It's too bad they don't know who put the box on the front steps. It would warm their heart to see the video and know they did the right thing. I'm sure this will be the birthday that she will remember for a long time. I love the pattern, does it have a name? [ :-D ]

I am so glad she got her quilt. I adored the way she ran her hands across the blocks and especially how she touched the blocks with the big dots. I am so happy for you all.

Yes, this is one of the main reasons we quilt. So glad the quilt was finally delivered. You've created a lifetime memory for her. And, I wouldn't be surprised if she becomes a quilter too.

Your video made me tear up! This is the reaction we all hope our quilt recipients will have, isn't it??? It makes all the time and love we put into it worth it. I'm so happy the quilt was finally found.
