I need help deciding whether to sash this quilt. Part of me just wants to sew the squares together and be done; and part of me knows the sashing will make the blocks pop. I've attached some pics: One on the design wall, then there's either the yellow or the blue for sashing. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Brenda

I like the blue sashing best but think it would look pretty without one or with the yellow too.

Normally I prefer sashing between blocks for a rest for the eyes. But in this case, I actually like the first picture with the blocks right next to each other.

I like the blue, there is so much yellow in the blocks that is almost looks blendy.
Great looking blocks!

If you don't sash you'll have a scrappier looking quilt but you will need more blocks or wider borders to get desired width

If you do sash, you're right - the blocks pop.
I think the blue/yellow combo looks great but would alternate - one blue - one yellow - one blue ....

I'd go with the blue!

I kinda like them without the sashing too. They disappear on the yellow and the blue from the blocks blends too. Although out of the two I would pick the blue if I had to pick one.

How about sashing vertical in blue & horizontal in yellow? (or vice versa). Will bring out both colors & the blocks, plus keep it kind of scrappy at the same time.
