www.quilterscache/ Michigan block. I must have enough of those for several quilts already and have 2 finished and a couple of bed runners! I keep making those and PP log cabins in different sizes with my scraps when I don't feel like doing anything "real". They all make pretty pot holders, purses, bags, pillow covers...

I like 9 patch as well. I should make one of those. Haven't made one in ages. Catfish, I have made the 2nd quilt you put up - I like it much better with sashing, so I think the next time, that is what I will do. I need that 'calm' place in a quilt when it is scrappy.

Carol Lee I too love the crayon box. I was getting tired of my tons of scarps and was thinking I would give them to someone when I found Bonnie's site and her quote what do you do with scraps, USE THEM. So I cut and cut scraps for a week or so and then starting sewing, once I finished I counted my blocks and I have 90 of them. Needless to say I made 3 quilts and since them have made 5 more. I love that pattern.

My vote goes to the log cabin too. I just started one 2 or 3 weeks ago. I was worried to start it and after a few questions on here , I have made a lot of blocks. I have seen other scrap quilts and loved them all. I dont know why I had not made one before this. I dont think its as important to pick the perfect pattern as it is to just Do it! I worried far to long about picking the perfect pattern perfect fabrics perfect colors...... wasted to much time thinking about sewing a quilt. Now i make quilts.
    Happy quilting
