I have taken out a WIP, and it was supposed to be a Rail Fence. However, I had started making blocks out of six different colors -- three colors in one block and three in the other. Now I don't know how I had planned to put them together.

Do you have any answers for this quilter question?

Could it have been to make a zig zag pattern?
I have seen quite a few made with that combination of blocks :D:D:D

I don't know. I'm on vacation, and I brought the fabric and completed blocks with me. Now I don't know what I meant to do with them.

Mary Ellen Hopkins used more than three colors in her rail fence quilts.

Just play with the blocks - see if something looks good and/or appeals to you - if it does, so them together.

It's okay if something different manifests while working with the pieces. :)

I don't know, but don't do what I did. See this blog here.

I don't know if this will show up as a link or not, but I guess if not, you can paste it into your browser.
