Here in upper Westchester of NY on the border of CT we got another 20 inches today...And I too sewed all day after digging out the car after the plow guy plowed our driveway and plowed in the car. I'm retired so I don't have to ever go out after 26 yrs of driving to wk in the snow, not missing it at all...

We got 8 1/2 inches on Monday and just today did the city sand/salt the our roads. We're in the city limits but in a rural area. We sit on the top of a ridge and we can't move until they sand. This weeks snow was the most we've had fall at one time since the '93 blizzard (that was over 20"). And we're in the south. haha

I hope you keep power and have tons of fun quilting.

Thought some might be interested in pictures!!!

We got at least 24". The yardstick varies from a low of 18" to a high of 32". Lots of blowing and drifting. Winds have died down and we kept our power.

Take it easy there with all the snow. We moved to MT in 99. No matter what the snow is like, they still operate everything here. They haven't had a snow day at the schools in my town since 91! And, only two delayed start days because of snow since 99! the school busses in the next town wouldn't start one day a few winters ago (diesel froze)so they cancelled school in that town that day....

Pretty much everything was shut down today. Tomorrow the city schools look to be closed, but many of the 'burbs seem to have delays.

Oh, I have to go back to work tomorrow, but it sure was fun having a snow day!!!

Schools here in TN are closed again tomorrow. About 6 inches of snow but it is now the cold temperatures that are keeping everyone home. Been sewing up a storm (pun) since the snow started, being retired has it's advantages. Hope things improve before the weekend Joann's and Hancock Fabrics is having a great sales. Got the flyers today.

Here in Ohio we got quite a few inches (about 9 inches earlier in my driveway, maybe more now), lake effect snow, but nothing new for our area... Love the snow! Happily staying warm after shoveling the car out... now inside sewing a test pattern, sipping hot chocolate while cutting pieces out :) It's still coming down here.
