We were told we ONLY have 13 inches of snow, but the botton branches of the cherry tree in my front yard are under snow. I guess it is a "snow burst"! I feel bad for the folks without power. Good luck to all.

I can relate to that, Started getting lake effect here yesterday, well over a foot of snow, and it's still snowing this morning. Guess I'll just have to sew!

Oh, I wish they would cancel our work. Somehow we are always able to get in. Indiana is just used to this stuff and we make it no matter what.... :-(

In Maine there were only two cities that qualified to be called a "Blizzard", Waterville and Augusta, and we're right between them both. Yes a blizzard it sure was and our television dish got covered with blowing snow so no TV last evening. Luckily we have a Roku box so I was able to watch tutes I'd downloaded from YouTube.

I was in NC over Christmas and the snow the day after was great got about 5 inches where I was but in that area everything pretty much shuts down with weather like that. Could not even go to church.

Here in GA, we got more ice than snow and it shut down the cities for almost 5 days!

Here in EastbTN we had 8 1/2" of snow which is very unusual for us. I have spent some time in quilting on a wallhanging then spent an evening ripping out a section I didn't like. I am a new long armer and it shows. Have learned a lot for sure but have enjoyed the snow.

My daughter and son-in-law in Conway AR said they had to move to AR to get their first snow day from work. Never happened to them in Ohio. LOL
