LOL -- me too....too many times. I now need to make a new iron board cover for my small one by my machine. LOL

Oh, I have one to add....

Thou shall have bandaids on hand at all times for pin pokes.

This happened to me just yesterday. I was quilting a QAYG block and poked myself on the inside of my thumb -- bled like crazy. Thank God I had my quilting glove on and it absorbed most of the blood when it spurted. No blood on the quilt. I poked it so bad that I have a bruise in that area.

Thou shalt finish the quilt thou art sewing upon; begin ye no new projects until then.

Thou shall only use an iron with a clean plate before applying to the fabric.

Entertaining topic choice!

How about, Thou shalt put fusible down on fabric not on iron. I did this so many times, I clogged the holes on my steam iron and had to buy a new one.

LOL, I am guilty of all of the above and more. Nice to know I am not alone.
