Very nice! I've been thinking about getting a Sew-Ezi table so I can take one of my machines out on my deck (at home). Of course I'm thinking that now while the humidity is low and there is a lovely breeze. I won't feel that way when it gets hot and sticky outside.

Cool lake breezes, birds singing and a sewing machine. The perfect life! Thanks for sharing. G

Almond, this is awesome. I love your barn quilt! And the view is to die for. How do you get any sewing done. lol It would be like every day is it's own little vacation. Perfect!! Thanks for the inspiration. I love it.

Having been a member of Quiltingboard for years (I love it), this is my first post. I am very familiar with lost Island as we used to live at Emmetsburg & took many drives around the lake. Lovely set up in your RV.

That's is so nice. We're leaving to go camping tomorrow but I have a smaller travel trailer so even though I like to take sewing/craft projects, they have to be smaller projects due to lack of space. But I have taken my Featherweight and done some sewing! Such fun!

As a gal raised in southern Iowa and a camper for many years, I really appreciated your post. It was a fellow camper in our camping club that inspired me to enter the quilting world...love the "barn" quilts too. It's fun to drive thru the midwest and find them...your set up is great...enjoy. We now live in the sunny south, so it seems like vacation here all the time.

I spent 5 months for the past three winter in a 25' fifth-wheel with DH, golden retriever and a cat but always had room to sew - it's great what you can do when motivated! DH knew if he wanted me happy he had to make sure I could quilt.
