I also sew barefoot. In the house I never wear shoes. If it is really cold I may wear a pair of slides, but considering I live in Texas it is rarely that cold.

Shoes are off first thing when I step into my house. Hate shoes. I'm a barefoot kind of girl.

Well, I don't think I've ever tried barefoot. I usually have on comfy sandals in the house. I'll have to try barefoot....never thought of it giving me better control.....hmmmm

OK, once again I'm the odd man out. I have a very funky pair of old pink suede houseshoes with rubber soles & I always sew in them.

As a type 2 diabetic, I usually try to wear shoes, especially in my sewing room. If I went to the doctor with an infection from stepping on a pin, she would hang me from the rafters. So its shoes when I sew.

I take both shoes off. Even at quilt class at the senior center.
