I have convinced myself I cannot use the foot pedal with shoes on so have always operated the foot pedal without a shoe. But like others no shoes in my house.

I am that way too, I was sewing at work, a basket challenge making a small quilt to action, and I had one shoe off. someone called for help, and away I went. One shoe off, one on. They still tease me.

I do everything possible without shoes. LOL But then, that's how I broke my foot so I probably should have learned something from that.............. but I didn't. LOL I wasn't born in shoes so I avoid them whenever possible. I would do the same with clothes except there are laws about that. LOLOL

I tend to have no shoes, just socks on.

Shoes off. The right shoe is built up about an inch so I cannot feel the peddle or anything else with shoes on.

I'm with you-I hate shoes and I used to get in trouble when I worked because I was always bare foot.

Shoes come off first thing and stay off-

I take my shoes off the minute I enter the house....needless to say I don't put them on until I go out either. SOOO, 99.9% of the time I sew it is without shoes. the other .1% it is cold and I have on slippers.
