What's everyone working on? Need inspiration today...
I'm supposed to be working on quilting a quilt for my new nephew and am totally dragging my feet. Somehow, I measured the batting incorrectly and it's about 5 inches too short, so I'll have to piece it. The little guy arrived Monday evening, and my goal is to finish it up by this weekend so I can ship it on Monday. I've been avoiding the batting problem and quilting parts of it in spite of the issue. I'm getting close enough though, where I'll have to figure it out soon. Also have 2 other projects that are gifts that I'm just not that into right now. I can put those aside but I need to get on this baby quilt...
So, what is everyone else working on/going to work on this week?
Here's a pic of the baby quilt. This was before I did any quilting....

I am trying to get through a commissioned quilt. Just a simple D9P but like you I am dragging my feet. This is not what I want to work on but do not want to start my fun projects until muddle my way thru this quilt. Let's give each other a gentle push

I have to add binding to a quilt. Not exactly inspiring either.
However, I made some crumb fabric with all my blue scraps then sub-cut that into 60-degree triangles. It is turning out cute. Love the crumb approach - there are no rules and you can whack off a hunk with or without ruler. It is so fun.

I am quilting some Bible bags. Just figure out how to quilt a miniaturized Falling Charms. The blocks measure 3" finished. The quilt you are working on is adorable. Hope someone in his family loves sailing. I loved racing big yachts when I was a young adult.

Tartan, good luck deciding, I'm sure it will look great no matter what.
MadQuilter - Normally binding is the step I get hung up on, I had one sit for 5 years waiting for binding, pathetic, I know. Can you post a pic of your crumb process? You have me intrigued...
Maniac - we all love sailing, and the little guy's room is all nautical. Those blocks on your bible bags sound tiny and tedious! I'm sure they look super cute though!
