I had always been taught to shrink my freezer paper before using it. I use the same method as Snipforfun.

I'm using freezer paper right now on a project. I did not know about spritzing the paper first and will try that on some today. I use the two pieces ironed together for more stability. Thanks for your info!

but if you stack several pieces and iron them wouldn't all the layers stick together?

Yes. That is the point. It makes the template stronger. I iron 2 pieces together
