    Default Singer 160

Has anyone purchased the Singer 160 sewing machine? If so, would love to know how you like it. I just got one as my second machine but haven't used it as yet.

    thanks...mj

I got mine last Feb when they were offering it on HSN. I really like the sewing machine. My only complaint is that it does not have needle up/needle down position. But then it wasn't exactly advertised as a quilting machine. I mainly just got it to be a part of my Singer Black Sewing Machine Collection. But, now that I have it, I really enjoy using it. I also like it because the cords and the feet are interchangeable with my brother CS6000i.

I also bought mine when on Hsn. Purchased to add to my collection of black Singers. Have used it and it is a very nice machine. I also agree miss the needle up/down and thread cutter!

Thanks ladies......I am anxious to get started on it but have sent it to Florida for my "snow bird" stay there.

Although I did think that it might be a lighter machine and was surprised that it was as heavy as it is.
