I got mine from Ebay, for under $200, including shipping. It is a black machine with a white motor, so clearly the motor was replaced. Also, it shows a lot of wear on the gold trim and chips in the japanning where the pedal was dropped into the case onto the machine bed.
Since I didn't intend to use it for display purposes, I don't mind that it has a rough exterior. It works perfectly, stitches are perfect, and that is all I ask of my little featherweight.

One of my sweet little FEATHERWEIGHT is coming home today from repair shop. I am so glad, missed it although have other machines to use, have bonded with my featherweights.
Yes, two of them. Between buying and selling and wrangling, paid about $60 apiece for both of them.

Featherweight prices have stabilized in this area in the last couple of years. I was seeing them previously in the $400-$500 range and now our local second hand store has one with all of the attachements, case and book for $325. One lady in my guild has one for sale at $225. Featherweights listed above $300 don't seem to be selling immediately on our local Kijiji sites and some have been listed several times. In our area, $300 seems to be the price.
