i THINK i remember reading on this board that any short-shankfoot would fit my singer1920........was i dreaming?my bf just bought me a vintage singer,it only came w/one foot.i don't want any of the "fancy"feet,only want to piece w/it,but the foot is pretty corroded.nay help would be great!

Try a short shank and see if it works. I use Singer short shanks on my Bernina with an adaptor that the dealer grudgingly sold me. I laughed all the way to the bank, darn those Bernina folks for making the feet so needlessly expensive.

Almost all of the short shank singer feet will work on your machine.

take it to a shop that sells Singer and see what they say.

Just tell them you need a short shank foot and what type of foot you want.
