Has anyone got the new singer futura quartet. Have you done any quilting on it? Thanks in advance for the info

I like my older singer. I don't like my futura. It never gets used! Everyone has different preferences!

I have two Singer machines, one circa 1939 and one 1950? and they are fabulous but once Singer started trying to go modern they messed up IMO. I know a number of Ladies in my local quilting groups and not one has a modern Singer!

I have one and have yet to quilt on it I have sewn on it. It has some touchy issues that I just do not have the patients for. When I hit the gas I want it to run!

If you haven't bought that machine yet...don't. Look at other brands instead.

I have a touch and sew, about 5 years old. It does OK, wish it had a needle down option when stopping, would make FMQ much less exasperating! Other than that, we get along great!
