Keep in touch!!! We'll get together for a welcome jaunt thru the local quilt shops!

This morning's news says the fire is 100% contained. Yes, we have bad fires here -- but NOTHING like they have in southern California. Thankfully we've not been affected by one. We have some teenagers walking our roads that seem to think it's okay to toss out lit cigarettes. I ever catch them at it, I'll skin them alive. And campers that don't put out their fires are MOST aggrivating!

I will be sending out some fabric to help her re-build her stash. I just remember reading on here how some people just love there fabric and love petting it, washing it, ironing it and petting it some more. What comfort she will feel to be able to touch the fabric and feel the love of the sender!! This group is just full of love & caring! So let's share the love!!!

This is so sad. Do you know of anything we as individuals can do to help her? I know we can never replace the memories or the quilts.

Count me in, are we sending stash? Is that the final decision?
May I suggest we each take a 6" square and sign it with our avi name, real name, city and state. It may mean even more to her later after the shock is over. She can keep them or put them in a quilt, scrapbook, whatever.

Count me in. Not sure what I will make but will send something (along with my name and encouragement) to the address given here previously. Thank you.
