Default SITD with clear thread

I really don't like the way this is looking. But don't know what the alternative is. I've never mastered FMQ and I don't want to pay to have it done.

    Any suggestions?

It's a maze wall quilt and the stitching is cutting across things that should be continuous. Plus it's so obvious.

I use YLI Wonder Invisible for quilting all my quilts. My Viking Rose has a stitch #17 that takes a nip to the right, goes strait a couple stitches, nip to the left, etc. Are you using a walking foot? Made this quilt in 5-6 hrs. last weekend.

Yes, I'm using a walking foot with just a straight stitch. I'm going for not showing much. Does your stitching? I can't see it in the picture.

Without a photo, it is difficult to see the problem. Can you photo a photo?? I did this BQ pattern stitching in the ditch and cross hatched the square focus fabric.

I have a pic of the quilt in my pictures folder. But can't get it to upload. Each time I try I get an error message from the Quilting Board.

Here's a close up of the colors and intersections. When I stitch with the clear it is just blaring out.

Once all the quilting is done and the quilt is washed I doubt that you will notice the stitching that is bothering you. Very striking quilt.

I know. But it sure is bugging me now. It's going on a wall. So won't wash it.

With the stitch I'm using it is very forgiving. That is why I use it all the time. No, you don't see the stitches, just a little pucker like it was hand stitched.
