I just got a PM telling me that a SITD foot and a walking foot were the same. Also that I should know what shank my machine has. No comment.

I know. I own one and ordered the other tonight. My LQS was out of slant shank SITD feet, so I ordered one online. I'll let you know how it works.

Could someone please post a pic of an SID foot, I know not what one looks like. I usually use my walking foot for quilting or zipper foot for dressmaking.

You received some information that is incorrect. The SID foot and the walking foot are two entirely different feet.
