I received a pack of the Tru-Grips when I bought a template set. They work pretty well. I also use the Creative Grid rulers.

I also bought some skateboard tape, but found that they scratch my other rulers and templates when they rub against them.

I use sandpaper dots that I make using a sheet of sandpaper that is sticky on one side and a paper hole punch.

Good question, KLO. I put the band from the bottom of the pyramid to the very narrow top and use it on a prepared strip of fabric needing to cut only on the two sides. The fellow in the you tube demo used a narrow 12" ruler and put the band the long way. I guess there is no universal fix that works for everything. Think I will invest in some rubber cement, too!

I so agree with you on this. The Grip Strips are the greatest invention even in my book. Well worth the money I spent and they work better than the sandpaper disks and "tub grippers" I had been using.

I have used clear nail polish and table salt. You will to renew from time-to-time, but it does work.

I stray the back lightly with basting spray from the can and let it dry you can always take it off with fingernail polish remover I also do that to any template I am using it works great

I have these, didn't like them at all, my fabric kept twisting underneath them. I use some clear flat grippers I got at the quilt store, but will give the Nexcare a try. I also have some creative grid rulers that don't slip.

Grip strips is the only thing I use now. I had tried everything else and nothing ever seemed to work. They are great I use them on all my rulers, wouldn't be without them
