Can't really see any reason to buy them.

Yes, I use them everytime for hand sewing the binding. I bought the hair clips from grocery store - they weren't as strong as the clips from LQS - also the grocery store clips were 3x the price of LQS (who would have thunk). I have a bunch of them and keep them in my sewing room - they work great.

I've used them for years. I got tired of getting stabbed all the time with pins.

I have always used them for binding because it goes so much faster when I do.

Yes, I have them and use them, I would not be without them to put a binding on. I was always sticking myself with pins before but these are so much easier to work with and they hold so well too. I have even used them to clip other things together as well, so find them very useful.

I think once you use them a time or two you won't want to be without them for sure.

Have sure been enjoying the posts even though I haven't been able to respond. Have had open heart surgery and it is a long slow haul, but each day sees a little improvement, some days more some days not so much. Thanks for the good wishes and cards that have been sent, they sure brightened my day.

Take care and Happy Quilting everyone.

I also get the hair clips. They are at our flea markets 12 for $1.00 always use them for hand sewing the binding on. Plus easier on my hands.

I have never tried them. I think I will have to make a stop at a dollar store on my way home from work this afternoon and get some!

I have used the black office binder clips to hold together a tote bag that was too thick to pin together. They worked great for that!

Yes I've used them for years, much prefer them to pins and getting stuck ! My girls used to "borrow" them for their hair and I'd have none, but they're out of the house now. Those small binder clips work well too :)
