I have made these with Warm Tater batting which has no glue and no scrim like regular batting which are treated to prevent migration of the fibers and allow larger distances between lines of quilting. You also need to be sure the thread is all cotton, not cotton wrapped poly.

Cherrio, I don't know how to bookmark things either, so I just do the old "Copy & Paste" I paste it into either my sewing file I made or my quilting file I made. Private Message me if you don't know how to do this & I'll explain it to you.

If know one has mentioned these, how about pillow cases, they are fun and fast to make and they make great gifts.

I love making small items inbetween quilt jobs, I've done shopping bags ( roll up ones), coasters, needle cases and pin cushions. I'd like to try diaper bags in the vinyl materials.. Plenty of patterns online of course.

So many things to make, no wonder my days go by so fast .

Have fun with it Tapper.

pot holders everyone needs. a kitchen towel with a rectangular square of printed fabric sewn on one edge, like a checkered towel with cherries or apple print going across one end (like a fancy bathroom towel only its a kitchen towel easy fast fast and can be pretty cheap too).
Love this idea of the wine bags. wondering what yours look like. Would appreciate it if you could post a picture.
