Default SMPlus gave up and finally sent me a new machine

A month ago, I was a negative nellie, posting how my long arm just went wild, and all the troubles, like SMP sending me a new power control. Anyway, long story short, I had to send my Pfaff 18.8 back to California right after Christmas. I just talked with the service department last night, and he said that they had to ship me a new machine. I guess my old one was too crazy for them. LOL. Anyway, I will keep you posted on how it works when it comes in. Just a bright part is that if the machine isn't working right, and it is under warrantee, don't just settle, make some racket. I bought the machine a year and half ago and they still paid for the labor because it was messed up so bad.

Happy to hear it worked out for you. Too often (myself included) we don't push for what we should. Glad to see you did and your outcome will help me to take that step in the future. That is too large of a purchase to not be working correctly.

Just curious - how did you send it back? I have always wondered about shipping something that large.
