Default So Excited!!!

Up to this point I'm self taught but today I'm taking my first class to learn more about precision piecing and on Wednesday I'm taking my second class on how to fmq, specifically feathers, but also in general!!!

Today I'm taking in my current project but for Wednesday should I take in my last quilt so she can see my skill level or lack there of in regards to my fmq?

Thanks,
Yael

Yes, take it with you. The teacher would love to see what you can do. It will give her an idea of exactly what to teach you. We are all curious to see others finished products or schould I say works of art ? So glad you are on the QB. You will learn from others as well as teach us somethin. Hugs

Good for you.
We can always learn something, no matter how long we've been quilting/sewing.

Taking a class is a good way to get tips and techniques from an expert.

Yes, take it in. Teachers like to know at what stage you are at in quilting.

I have taken many classes with "well-known" quilters and each time, they have encouraged to bring in a sample of what you have done. Have fun with your classes.

So the class was what I needed but man was the teacher a toughy. She never said if I did well or not just pointed out all the problems and attacked them. Tough love was the name of the game. I came out learning a lot and am happy I went.
