I too have the clear plastic on my rulers. I used the sandpaper, but couldn't slide the ruler when I needed to, and I didn't like the feel of the bulk, so went and got the plastic and love the way it works. I am not very good at cutting so anything that might mess up does and so have to use what works for me. I have thought of the grabbers, as I do press hard on my rulers, may help that do you think lol.. I am going to get some and try them tho, they look like they would work for me.
