    Thanks, all

Thanks for all the sympathy, and I really think you all have pointed me in the right direction, shown me the error of my ways. The whole problem is the housework thing! Nuff said.LOL

It's not too hard to get a cleaning lady, but I sure don't want a quilting lady in my house!!!

I guess you need to get a maid for the housework and a gardner for the weeds. Then you can spend great time quilting and enjoying.

I agree with Pinkiris. If I think it wil be done in a snap, I will screw something up and take a lot more time than I wanted to.

The good news is that you saw it before you finished it and gave it away. Has anyone ever left a pin in a quilt? So embarrassing!

Ha-ha! Yes, that's about all you can do! Rather laugh than cry!
If a woman's work is never done....why start?

That pesky housework! It still sounds like you accomplished a world of stuff. I want to see your quilt. Pictures please!

It took me 4 tries to get this block right!! It was quite a waste of fabric of fabric as well, because you cut 2 at a time and swapped the center piece. I thought I'd whip a few up in no time, after all the magazine said "Easy Lesson". Some days are just like that. Here is the link to the block.
