Something about this ALWAYS brings the quilt police!

What a beautiful top and love the colors. My 3 Cocker "inspectors" have been known to sneak out their door with a block, I guess to get a better look at it in the sun light. They even on occasion have tasted it much to my dismay. I do my piecing when they are napping in their "gated community", the kitchen. Gotta love em!

Well, at least they are not helping you sew, only inspect for errors and missed points. Tee-Hee, my kitty is much more into the sewing part of quilting. She "purrrfers" to hold the quilt in place while I am trying to free motion. Silly kitty!
You have charming inspectors.

A herding dog is forever a herding dog. Our first beloved dog, Friday, was a border collie and we have movies of her circling and "herding" our first born where he lay on a quilt pallet in the back yard. She would circle him, sniff or lick his feet, lie down near him for a few minutes, then repeat the whole action. What a wonderful member of the family she was. That baby has long since grown up but we still miss her.
Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! And you have some adorable inspectors!
