Modred189, I'll bet a lot of the members of this board are hoping you are their son.

    Cool

    UPDATE!!!
As promised, I wanted to post a review/pictures once it was delivered and set up. I ended up ordering this one:

I also went to ThingsRemembered in the mall and had them create a little plaque that tacked into the wood. I opened the box when it got here, and it's a really nice product. It's freshly stained (ooh that wood-stain smell!), and made of real wood, not laminated particle board.
They took it back and set it up, successfully, to rave reviews. And here are the pictures :

    With plaque visible.

Complete with a recent (?) creation. She's a prolific creator so I'm not sure how old it is.

    Thanks everyone for your help!

Too bad it doesn't match the Ferrari-themed humidor we got for my father!

I know all this is to be kept on the DL re your DM but when this is all done, can we tell her what a fabulous, thoughtful son she has?

I thought about it, but the websites scared me. They are covered in disclaimers like "we never guarantee any delivery ever" and "due to the handmade nature of the products they may not be square, may wobble, and vary in sizes." Just too much up in the air, imho.

The stand is beautiful & looks great next to the chest. Your mom's quilt is gorgeous. You are such a thoughtful son.
