Definitely for charity quilts, just not for hospitals! Foster kids, kids involved in CASA (children in the court systems) and others would love any type of quilt that they could call their own.

As a nurse, and former Pediatric ICU nurse, there is no reason you can't use the sparkly fabrics in a hospital. Go for it.
