Just reading this board has helped me so much expecially in the last few weeks. My oldest son passed away suddenly from a siezure on Sept. 16th and even though I didn't post very much I still read on here every day. It helps to keep my mind going to other things even though he is never out of my thoughts. He would have been 42 on the 18th. I still have such a hard time believing he is no longer here.

I so agree with everyone about how helpful this group is. This to me means that members are 'true' quilters, helpful and giving support when needed in quilting and life. Oh and not to forget the great recipes shared.
Members on the group are the BEST.

I also wish to say thank you, especially to all of you who have so graciously agreed to be a quilting buddie to another fellow quilter. I know how comforting it can be just to get the opinion of another quilter, to make a new friend, to get to know another member of this large "family" of quilters. Never before have I met such a wonderful group of people, all here for the same purposes. This board fills my heart with such a warm, fuzzy feeling. THANK YOU ALL.

Not too early here to wish anyone and everyone Happy Thanksgiving! Canadians celebrate the second Monday in October! So Happy Thanksgiving to all the quilting board. As people come and go here the moods shift slightly and the faces change from time to time, but the Quilting Board is one of the first places I check each day!

"Thanks" just doesn't cover it. I'm pretty new at quilting and have learned so much from all of you. I am on the site everyday and really enjoy it...yes it takes time from quilting but keeps me focused so Many Thanks!
