Speed controller burn out
I purchased a speed controller for my Janome 1600P that I use on a frame for quilting. It lasted 7 months before it started to die out. It would start , stop, start, stop. Drove me crazy. Then I figured out I was constantly holding the "on" button down instead of setting it "on" and then moving my thumb off the button until time to stop. Guess it fried the microchip. At the price of these controllers, I may go broke unless I learn to move my thumb. Had to order another one yesterday....asked for 3 day shipping. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Was it hard to re-learn moving the thumb off the button??.
