I love these little cuties, they fit under my elbow and on my shoulder. Filled with rice and easy to make. Last night, I had enough so warmed these rascals up and placed them on my shoulder and elbow. Felt soooooo good. Just need to figure out one to go around my neck like a sleeping pillow . Does anyone else use these. They stayed warm a while too, surprised me.
I need one of those quilting things that we wear and it has a
"weighted" bag for our posture. I tend to bend while I sew . Looking forward to more ideas on what we can us to sew longer with less stiffness and aches and pains.

We love rice bags in our family. Everyone has them. One year I made them for presents. We have small ones that we warm up before leaving the house and they act like hand warmers in your pockets. I also made neck ones. I made a bigger one that my husband uses when his back is hurting. I make them out of bamboo velor for extra softness. They are great to warm up your toes. They are very therapeutic to use.

Just wondering if you took one of those thera wraps made for your neck and made a pattern from it's shape and extend it so you could Velcro it together, making a pouch area just in the back for the rice. I make little heat beds for my Chinese Cresteds. The poor hairless one loves his all year long.

They work. I have a bigger one that has lavendar scent in it too, relaxing.

Clem 55 - you are too funny. We need one for every joint, dont' we? ROFL.

Great idea for keeping warm. My DH is always, always cold because of his heart meds, so making him a few for his pockets.

Velcro works too. Joann's sells a whole line of these quilty bags and they have velcro, Need to add those while I am sewing them. Another great idea. I love sharing on this board. SO many ideas. :D

Love my rice bags!! I warm them in the microwave before I go to bed and then throw them in the bed where my feet are. No more trying to get my husband to warm my feet!!

My MIL used a sailor collar pattern to make one for her neck and shoulders. Just made it fuller wider and filled it up with rice. She loves it.
